Elections
. The polling place for the Town of Dale is located at the Municipal Building, W9641 State Road 96, Dale WI 54931. All U.S. Citizens, age 18 or older who have resided in the Town of Dale for 10 days before any election and have not been convicted of a felony are an eligible elector. All electors must be registered before voting. Anyone wishing to register to vote in the Town of Dale can do so by contacting the Marcia Kelly Clerk, 920-779-4609 to receive a registration application, or at the polling place on election day. If submitting a registration application by mail you will need to provide a copy of acceptable proof of residence. Forms of identification which constitute acceptable proof of residence are a current and valid photo identification, or one of the following: a current and valid WI driver's license, a current and valid Wi identification card, any other official identification card or license issued by a WI governmental body or unit, any identification card issued by an employer in the normal course of business and bearing a photo of the card holder, but not including a business card, a real estate tax bill or receipt for the current year or the year preceding the date of the election, a residential lease which is effective for a period that includes election day (NOT for first-time voters registering by mail) university, college or technical institute fee card or identification card (must include photo), copy of a current utility bill for the period commencing not earlier than 90 days before the election day, bank statement, pay check or government document that shows the name and address of the voter. Proof of residence does not include any piece of mail addressed to the voter. At the polling place on election day. You will need to provide your drivers license number or the last four digits of your social security number if you don't have a drivers license. You will also need any of the above listed proof of residence. Absentee Ballots: You can obtain an absentee ballot by contacting Marcia Kelly Clerk, 779-4609 to obtain an application. Or the Application can be downloaded and mailed to Marcia Kelly P. O. Box 83, Dale, WI 54931. AbsenteeBallotApplication.pdf The deadline to make application to vote by mail is 5:00 p.m. on Friday preceding the election. To vote absentee in person the deadline is 5:00 p.m. on the day before the election.
